Glide Nordic retreats aim to provide the highest quality of ski instruction and additional support. Our instructors are highly accredited and have years of experience with all levels of skiers. We will teach to your level and work with you to give you the best ski experience possible!
BRENNA WARBURTON
Ski Instructor
Brenna has 30 years in the business of Nordic skiing.
She grew up skiing and racing at Anthony Lakes Nordic Center near Baker City, OR, skied for St. Lawrence University as a college student. Internationally, she completed the Norwegian Birkebeiner twice, and worked as a ski guide for a small resort near the Rondane mountains in Norway.
Brenna joined the Glide Nordic staff in 2021, and takes a playful approach to introducing participants to the sport. Currently, Brenna is tasked with showing her tween children that Nordic skiing is cool- her toughest coaching challenge to date.
KELLY SCHEURMAN
Ski Instructor
One of Kelly Schueuerman's favorite activities is sharing her love of cross country skiing with others. As a passionate recreational skier herself, Kelly spent five years teaching at Mount Bachelor's Nordic Center where she focused on empowering beginning and intermediate women skiers to improve their skills and grow their confidence. As an instructor her students describe her as patient, encouraging, and skilled at converting technique to skill. Kelly utilizes her expertise as a mental health counselor to create a fun and safe learning environment for all.
INGRID GRANLIN
Ski Instructor
Ingrid Granlin is the owner/operator of Glide Nordic School based in Bend Oregon. She grew up ski racing and exploring the backcountry in Smithers, British Columbia and has taught Nordic skiing in BC, Alberta, California, Oregon and Switzerland. She started instructing in her late teens. Now, with over 25 years experience, Ingrid operates her ski school in Central Oregon, teaching all levels of Nordic skiing in both skate, classic and backcountry. She is a level III certified ski instructor with both the Professional Ski Instructor Association (PSIA) and the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI).
PETIT DAVINA
Yoga Teacher
Petit has been practicing yoga since 1999 after connecting with some yoga teachers in the wilderness of Yosemite. In 2007 she spent a month living at Ananda in northern California where she completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training. Petit finds beauty and peace amidst mountains, trees, rivers and oceans. She believes that each person has his/her own "Everest" and guides her yoga classes with an awareness of both the challenges and the beauty found in each step along the way. When she isn't practicing yoga, Petit enjoys sunrises, adventure, chai, sushi, music and soaking in the JOY and WONDER of her son, Talus.
ANNA HAAR
Yoga Teacher
Anna moved to Bend in 2016 from Minnesota. She brings with her years of experience teaching various yoga styles. A long time Ashtanga practitioner and dancer, she finally decided to become a certified yoga teacher at The Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She also completed Ashtanga teacher training with David Swenson.
Growing up in Latvia, Anna traveled the world extensively before moving to the US.
Anna loves to help students grow in their individual practices, helping them get stronger and more confident in their bodies with each class.

Lynn Penner-Ash, Founding Winemaker of Penner-Ash Wine Cellars (and one of the earliest female winemaker’s in Oregon) and now on a second career as a master’s Nordic Skier which is not as successful as her first career?
